Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Resume data: Your resume is parsed and scored entirely in your browser. We do not upload, store, or transmit your resume content to our servers unless you explicitly save it to the cloud (Pro feature).

Account data: If you create an account, we store your email address and encrypted password. We never store payment card numbers — all payments are processed by Stripe.

Analytics: We use privacy-friendly analytics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking) to understand aggregate usage patterns — page views, feature adoption, and error rates.

2. How we use your data

We use collected data only to provide and improve the service. We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. AI processing

When you use AI features (rewrites, keyword analysis), your resume text is sent to our AI provider for processing. This data is not used to train AI models and is deleted after processing.

4. Data retention

Free users: no data stored server-side. Pro users: resume data stored until account deletion. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@resumeforjobai.com.
